Frances Perk Cafe

Overview

The Frances Perk Cafe, located in the Department of Labor Perkins lobby at 250 E Street, SW, Washington, D.C., is a touch-free coffee kiosk designed by AMAR Group. The project, completed in 2023, involved designing and installing a Peet’s Coffee kiosk featuring fire-proof construction materials, commercial coffee equipment, refrigerators, lighting, and ADA-compliant countertops. AMAR Group was involved in creating the schematic designs, finish boards, and construction documents, gaining approvals, and administering the kiosk’s construction.

AMAR Group’s design for the Frances Perk Cafe prioritizes safety and accessibility, incorporating fire-proof materials and ADA-compliant countertops. The touch-free coffee kiosk has modern commercial coffee equipment and efficient lighting, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and baristas. The aesthetic design is both functional and inviting, enhancing the lobby space.

Community & Social Impact
